Noise

Why is there silence?

...When the noise in my head is so deafening...

....When the voices that speak to me are so unrelenting...

...When the sounds that surround me are so overbearing...

Yet there is silence

Which I cannot hear.

Voices Unknown

In a room I sit alone,

In the company of voices unknown,

Whispers that seem so loud, so vocal,

Exploding in my head, so real so soulful.

A haze of figures float by,

Whirling, talking as they fly,

Shapes that melt, faces that endure,

I see them closely...the faces are my own.
